Architect firm wins in Playing-Built category and ties for ‘best in show’ for its 2012 Olympic Velodrome design

Crystal CG International was proud to honour the best in sport architecture and design at the first ever New London Awards (NLA), held at London’s Guildhall on 12th July 2011. Crystal’s creative director, Ximo Peris, presented Hopkins Architects with the winning certificate for the Playing-Built category for its design of the 2012 Olympic Velodrome at the awards ceremony.  The firm also went on to tie for the ‘Overall Winner’ award with Barking Central regeneration - both projects were commended for their outstanding contribution to London.

Judged by a panel of international experts in architecture and urban design, the new awards celebrated the capital’s best architecture projects.  Our expertise in architecture and sport as well as our role as the official Digital Imaging Services Supplier for the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games meant supporting these awards was an ideal opportunity for the Crystal CG International team.

Congratulations to all of the winners and we look forward to celebrating another successful year for the NLA in 2012!
