Crystal is dedicated to promoting creative industries by encouraging sustainable development and training of talented personnel. In 2003, we set up the Crystal Institute of Digital Education in Beijing to help in the development of China's creative industry. Its goal is to develop and nurture practical creative talents by offering various vocational programmes.

Since its inception, the Institute has trained more than 10,000 design and 3D visualisation professionals. Our education philosophy emphasises practical experience and career enhancement. Through this type of training, students can upgrade their skills quickly and broaden their career prospects.

Many of the faculty are senior employees of Crystal CG. Top Chinese and foreign artistic directors and experts are also regularly invited to participate in the teaching.

Training is divided into six key areas:

• Architectural presentation
• Film and animation
• TV programmes design and promotion
• Computer gaming
• Graphic design
• Animation direction

The Institute also offers high-end courses that include teacher training courses, Hollywood film and television special effects, and others.

The Institute has also designed specially-tailored courses, such as the Electronic Arts special class, which is taught and guided by senior staff from EA, one of the world’s leading interactive games publishers. Top students from the course are recommended to EA in the United States.
