History

2011

Crystal strengthens its London operations by recruiting experienced Creative Directors, Producers and Designers. Key projects are completed among them the digital pre-visualisation of the London 2012 Opening Ceremony and a new division engaging on Experiential projects is launched.

2010

Crystal CG International consolidates its operation in London, establishing an International Headquarters. Crystal CG opens US office in Los Angeles. 

2009

Crystal CG officially appointed 'Digital Imaging Services Supplier' for London 2012 Olympic & Paralympics Games. The London operation is expanded as a headquarters operation for the newly formed Crystal CG International business.

2008

Designated as the 'Beijing 2008 Olympics and Paralympics Sports Presentation 3D Design Supplier'

2007

Crystal CG is officially designated as 'General Contractor of Digital Content for Beijing 2008 Olympic Opening & Closing Ceremony' – and appointed 'Shanghai 2010 Expo Exhibition Planning Services Supplier'. Foundation of a London operation sees the business expand into Europe.

2006

Appointed ‘Graphic Design Service Supplier’ for 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

2003

The company forms the Crystal Institute of Digital Education to promote and develop skills and opportunities within the industry. Overseas commercial operations are expanded with an office in Singapore.

2002

Crystal CG opens its first offices outside mainland China in Hong Kong and Tokyo.

2001

Beijing Olympic Bid Committee designates Crystal CG as its 3D Graphics Provider.

1995

Crystal CG formed in Beijing.
